Data Agility for Operations at Scale
Accelerate agile data workflows with fast, traceable data collection and aggregation, advanced data preparation, and seamless transformation into decision-ready assets.
What Data Agility means
Data agility is the ability to manage data throughout its lifecycle – from ingestion to aggregation and export – in a fast, controlled, and traceable manner. By closely managing how data is collected, transformed, and combined, it strengthens data governance and ensures the production of reliable datasets.
Ultimately, data agility removes bottlenecks, simplifies preparation, and enables the transition from operational data handling to more strategic use.

How Rulex enables data agility
Data collection and aggregation
Rulex Platform enables agile data collection and aggregation across multiple sources and formats, in a single, visual environment.
- Ingest data from local files, remote DBs, SAP tables, cloud storage, and via native connectors or APIs
- Convert everything into a unified table format
- Perform fast transformations and aggregations
- Export results back to data sources, as email notifications, view them in dashboards, or simply as local files on your desktop
Transform data into business decisions
Rulex Platform manages massive migration tasks effortlessly and is 10 to 100 times faster than competitors, able to process large datasets of 50M+ rows in under 10 seconds.
The transition from development to production requires no additional rework. Built-in scheduling and alert functions allow full solution automation, enabling agile data workflows that scale from development to enterprise operations.
Built for everyone
Rulex Platform generates optimized code for every operation, with automatic documentation and source-control versioning.
Every operation is automatically tracked in an interactive history, so each step can be reviewed, adjusted, and repeated. This ensures complete transparency and control over your agile data pipelines.
For developers, this means simpler debugging, maintenance, and scaling – all while ensuring consistent and high-quality data preparation across projects.
Orchestration of multiple sources
Rulex can create new datasets starting from information stored in multiple and heterogenous data sources. This enables advanced management tasks on data and the extraction of new insights.

ADAPTING DATA FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF VERTICAL SOLUTIONS
In multiple projects, Rulex has supported organizations integrating with vertical platforms – such as supply chain APS systems – that manage complex industry scenarios but often lack the flexibility to integrate diverse customer data sources and formats.
In one case, an online pharmacy implementing a new pharmaceutical management system needed to align product codes, data types, and field lengths, while merging datasets, eliminating duplicates, and standardizing missing values. Rulex Platform consolidated data from heterogeneous formats into a unified structure fully compliant with the target system’s specifications.
The solution delivered a tailored, scalable integration layer that could be managed directly by the pharmacy’s employees. Users were able to import entire folders, receive real-time parsing error notifications, and handle data flows independently, without ongoing maintenance or custom scripts. Implemented within weeks, it reduced costs by 20% compared to Python-based alternatives and enabled bi-directional API communication.

DATA AGILITY FOR AWP MONITORING
In Italy’s heavily regulated gaming industry, a leading operator needed to continuously monitor abnormal behavior across its AWP (Amusement With Prizes) machines to mitigate fraud risk. Undetected anomalies could translate into reputational damage and legal consequences. The operator needed to gather and integrate data from thousands of machines, identify anomalies, and execute daily controls within a limited time frame.
Rulex developed a solution which collected and integrated data from all of the operator's AWP machines in Italy. The system classified behavioral patterns based on rules extracted directly from data through Rulex’s eXplainable AI algorithm, integrated with additional rules defined by SMEs. Business users could define and customize rules in an external spreadsheet, seamlessly integrated into the workflow. The platform identified fraudulent and suspicious behavior – such as the opening of a drawer in the absence of malfunctions – while scheduling daily workflow computations within a limited time frame.
