DEVELOPING COMPLIANT WORKFLOWS
A Fortune 50 company faced increasing challenges in maintaining consistent and compliant workflows as development teams scaled and operated more independently. Manual validation processes and fragmented checks made it difficult to ensure adherence to internal standards, increasing the risk of errors before production.
The solution leveraged Rulex’s Flow Review Tool to automate compliance validation. By uploading a customizable Excel file containing validation rules, the tool automatically ran checks across workflows, including structure, parameters, alerts, and configurations. This enabled pre-production testing, providing reports with warning and error messages for rule violations along with suggestions for improving workflow quality.
VALIDATING CHANGES AFTER VERSION UPDATES
An international company needed to manage software version updates while ensuring that changes did not introduce inconsistencies in results.
The solution used Rulex’s Check Dataset tool to ensure that the results of their updated software version aligned with those of the previous version by comparing column count and order, attribute values, and acceptable percentage differences between rows. With each update, workflows ran automatically, and the Check Dataset tool generated reports listing all detected differences.
This allowed teams to quickly review, adjust, and confidently proceed with operations while maintaining data integrity.
SAVING COSTS WITH CONTAINERIZED EXECUTION
An energy company needed to run 40 daily workflows in a production environment, with email alerts triggered by specific conditions, while minimizing the costs associated with maintaining a persistent infrastructure, such as a cloud-based architecture.
The solution adopted containerized execution via Docker within Rulex Platform, enabling on-demand workflow execution without requiring continuously active resources. This approach also ensured predictable, on-demand flow execution unaffected by the launch environment, resulting in increased efficiency.
